In today’s connected world, sharing files securely with anyone is a necessity. Whether it’s a work document, family photos, or personal information, you want to make sure your files are secure and protected from any potential threats. Luckily there are many great tools available that allow you to easily and securely share files with anyone. Here are the best tools for securely sharing files.

1. Dropbox

Dropbox is one of the most popular file-sharing tools out there. It’s easy to use and allows you to share files and folders with anyone, even if they don’t have a Dropbox account. With Dropbox, you can set passwords, expiration dates, and restrict access to specific people. It also offers two-factor authentication for added security.

2. Google Drive

Google Drive is another popular tool for file sharing. With Google Drive, you can easily share files or folders with anyone, as long as they have a Google account. You can also set permissions and restrict access to specific people for added security. Google also offers two-factor authentication to ensure your files are safe.

3. OneDrive

OneDrive is Microsoft’s file-sharing tool, and it’s a great option for those who use Microsoft Office. With OneDrive, you can easily share files and folders with anyone, regardless of whether they have a OneDrive account. You can set passwords, links expiration dates, and restrict access to specific people. OneDrive also offers two-factor authentication for added security.

4. Send Anywhere

Send Anywhere is a great tool for sharing files quickly and easily. You don’t need an account to use it, and it’s free for files up to 10GB. You can send files via email or link, and they will expire after a certain amount of time. Send Anywhere also offers end-to-end encryption, making it a secure option for file sharing.

5. Firefox Send

Firefox Send is a new tool from Mozilla that allows you to share files securely and anonymously. You don’t need an account to use it, and it’s free for files up to 2.5GB. Files are encrypted and will expire after a certain amount of time. Firefox Send also allows you to set a password for added security.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
