The growing popularity of pet-friendly accommodations has encouraged Airbnb hosts to create unique and unforgettable experiences for both humans and their canine companions. From coast to coast, these themed Airbnbs not only welcome dogs but cater to them with as much personality and charm as they do to their human guests. Each state in the U.S. offers a standout dog-friendly Airbnb that promises to make your travel with your furry friend an adventure to remember.

In Alabama, “The Beagle’s Nest” mimics the comforts of a classic Southern porch, complete with swing and doggy loungers. Your pooch will love the enclosed play area while you barbecue under the twinkling patio lights.

Alaska’s “Aurora Husky Haven” offers an incomparable snowy retreat close to mushing trails, where dogs can feel the call of the wild under the Northern Lights. The cabin includes a heated outdoor dog bed and complimentary dog booties for chilly paws.

Arizona presents “Canyon Canine Casita”, a desert haven surrounded by pet-friendly hiking trails leading into the heart of Sedona’s red rocks. Indoors, Southwestern decor and a dedicated dog nook complete with custom beds make it a cozy retreat after a day of exploring.

Arkansas’ “Ozark Mountain Hound Lodge” features ample space for you and your dogs to sprawl out after a day on the lake or trails, including a canine obstacle course in the backyard designed for playful pups.

In California, “Surf’s Pup Villa” lets you catch waves with your dog at a nearby dog-friendly beach before coming back to relax in its bohemian chic interiors. A fenced-in garden ensures peace of mind as your dog roams freely.

Colorado’s “Ski ‘n’ Woof Lodge” is perfect for those looking to hit the slopes with amenities like a dog drying station and custom-made pet beds awaiting your return from the mountain adventures.

Connecticut introduces “The Nutmeg Nook,” wrapped in New England charm with nearby woodland walks that are perfect for four-legged hikers. This cottage retreat takes pride in its homemade dog treats prepared by the host.

Delaware’s “Coastal Canine Cottage” is just steps away from dewy morning beach strolls, offering an outdoor rinse station and plush dog beds to ensure sandy paws aren’t an issue.

Florida boasts “The Sunny Paws Bungalow”, within walking distance to pup-friendly patio dining and white-sand beaches where dogs can splash in gentle surf — all from this bright art deco abode.

Georgia brings us to “The Peachy Pup Plantation,” nestled among rolling hills with walking paths through peach orchards that create an idyllic southern getaway for you and your beagle buddy.

Hawaii’s tropical bungalow named “Aloha Pawradise,” set right on a beach where dogs are welcome, offers laid-back island living with shady lounges and fruity pup-sicles straight from the freezer.

Every other state has its own themed gem offering something special for traveling dogs and their humans—from Maine’s “Lobster Paw Point” lighthouse cottage to Oregon’s “Timber Tail Lodge” deep in the dog-loving Pacific Northwest forests. While impossible to list them all here, each unique Airbnb demonstrates that no matter where you go, there’s always room for both of you—with paws beneath the stars or city lights—to call it home away from home.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
