Introduction:

Sweet tea sangria is the perfect refreshing drink to enjoy on a warm summer day or at a backyard gathering. Combining the classic flavors of tea, fruit, and wine, this delicious concoction is sure to become a new favorite. Today, we’ll explore the best sweet tea sangria recipe and tips on how to make this delightful beverage.

Ingredients:

– 4 cups sweet tea

– 1 bottle (750ml) white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)

– 1/2 cup brandy

– 1/4 cup orange liqueur (such as Triple sec or Grand Marnier)

– 2 cups fresh fruit (such as orange slices, strawberries, raspberries, and apple chunks)

– 1 lemon, thinly sliced

– Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prepare the sweet tea by brewing your favorite black tea, allowing it to steep for 3-5 minutes depending on taste preference. Add sugar or simple syrup to your desired level of sweetness. Let the sweet tea cool to room temperature or chill in the refrigerator.

2. In a large pitcher, combine the sweet tea with white wine, brandy, and orange liqueur. Stir gently until well mixed.

3. Add fruits to the pitcher – you can pick any variety of fruits that harmonize well with sweet flavors. For a sweet-tart balance, you can also include some citrus slices like oranges or lemons.

4. Cover the pitcher and let the sangria rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight for best flavor infusion. This allows time for all the ingredients to meld together and infuse their flavors.

5. Before serving, gently stir the sangria once more and pour it into glasses – make sure to include some of the fruit in each glass.

6. Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of freshness and eye appeal.

7. Serve the sweet tea sangria over ice, and delight in the refreshing combination of flavors!

In conclusion, this sweet tea sangria recipe is not only incredibly easy to make, but it also offers a refreshing twist on the traditional sangria. Have fun experimenting with various fruits and flavors to make your very own, personalized version of this delightful beverage. And remember – sharing is caring! So invite your friends and family over, serve up a pitcher of sweet tea sangria, and celebrate good times all summer long.
