As of my last update in early 2023, Mississippi residents have several options to consider when selecting an internet service provider. Here are some of the best internet providers in the state, known for their reliable service and good customer support.

1. AT&T – Offering both DSL and fiber internet services, AT&T has extensive coverage in Mississippi. Their fiber network provides blazing-fast speeds suitable for heavy streaming, online gaming, and large downloads with various plans that can cater to different needs.

2. Xfinity from Comcast – Xfinity offers high-speed cable internet across much of Mississippi. Known for its solid performance and promotional deals for new customers, Xfinity has a range of packages that can fit individual or family usage requirements.

3. C Spire – A local provider that’s quickly gaining popularity, C Spire delivers fiber-to-the-home services. Although their coverage is more limited than nationwide providers, they offer competitive pricing and are expanding their services rapidly throughout the state.

4. Viasat – For residents in rural areas of Mississippi, satellite internet from Viasat can be a game-changer. It doesn’t require cables or phone lines and provides reasonable speeds that can handle everyday online activities.

5. HughesNet – Another satellite internet option for those in remote locations is HughesNet. With improved technology, HughesNet offers stable internet connections with no hard data limits, making it a viable option for rural customers.

6. Sparklight (Formerly Cable ONE) – Sparklight provides cable internet service with various data plans that cater to diverse customer needs. It is appreciated for offering high-speed internet with flexible payment options.

When choosing an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Mississippi, it’s important to consider factors such as availability in your area, speed requirements, data caps, customer service reputation, contract terms, and price. It’s also recommended to verify the latest details from providers as services and offerings can frequently change due to competition and technological advancements.
