As an aspiring musician or producer, you know that having the right DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is essential. A DAW is an application software for recording, editing, and producing audio files. A good DAW is necessary to create high-quality music tracks. If you use a Mac, there are several free DAWs available, which can help you kickstart your music production career.

  1. GarageBand

GarageBand is a popular DAW that comes pre-installed with all Macs. It is perfect for beginners, as it has a user-friendly interface and is easy to use. It comes with virtual instruments, pre-recorded loops, and several effects and plugins. GarageBand also allows users to record and edit tracks, mix and master them, and share them across social media platforms.
