Electric SUVs have been gaining significant traction in the automotive market, and the year 2024 is set to offer a range of impressive vehicles in this category. Consumers looking for eco-friendly options without compromising on space, comfort, and performance will find a variety of models to choose from. Here are the best electric SUVs to look out for in 2024:

1. Tesla Model X Plaid: The Model X has always been at the forefront of electric SUV performance, and the 2024 Plaid version continues this legacy. With its tri-motor setup, the Model X Plaid is expected to deliver extraordinary acceleration and a range that could potentially exceed 340 miles on a single charge.

2. Ford Mustang Mach-E GT: The Mustang Mach-E GT combines the legacy of the Mustang with the efficiency of an electric powertrain. The GT model promises exciting performance with an estimated range of around 270 miles, making it both practical for daily use and thrilling for driving enthusiasts.

3. Volkswagen ID.4 GTX: Volkswagen continues to expand its ID electric vehicle lineup with the ID.4 GTX, a more performance-oriented version of their popular ID.4 SUV. With a dual-motor setup, all-wheel drive, and a balanced chassis, it offers a dynamic driving experience with an estimated range of over 300 miles.

4. Audi e-tron Sportback S: Audi enhances their e-tron lineup with the sportier Sportback S variant. It features sleek styling and three electric motors that produce impressive power outputs while maintaining a luxurious interior typical of Audi’s high standards. An estimated range of up to 220 miles ensures it can cover most daily driving needs with ease.

5. Hyundai Ioniq 7: Hyundai is set to launch the Ioniq 7 as part of its expanding lineup of dedicated EVs under the Ioniq sub-brand. This large SUV will focus on comfort and space while offering cutting-edge technology features. It’s expected to deliver around 300 miles of range, making it suitable for long journeys without frequent charging stops.

6. Rivian R1S: Rivian’s R1S is targeted at adventurers who require ruggedness along with zero emissions. This all-electric SUV boasts over 300 miles of range depending on the battery pack chosen and features off-road capabilities that challenge traditional combustion-engine SUVs in their own game.

7. BMW iX3 M Sport: BMW brings its M Sport pedigree to the electric vehicle segment with the iX3 M Sport edition. The vehicle emphasizes sporting dynamics combined with sustainability, offering substantial power output along with an aerodynamic design that helps achieve an efficient range close to 285 miles per charge.

8. Mercedes-Benz EQB: Mercedes-Benz’s EQB is designed as a versatile all-electric compact SUV suitable for families, providing ample cabin space and flexible seating configurations while maintaining luxury standards synonymous with the brand. The EQB is anticipated to offer around 260 miles of range.

Each model listed above brings unique features and capabilities to prospective owners seeking high-performing, sustainable vehicles in the form of an electric SUV—making it clear that buyers in 2024 will have abundant choices when switching over to electric mobility without sacrificing convenience or driving pleasure.
