Introduction:

If you’re seeking an unforgettable recipe for beer-battered chicken tenders, then look no further. This delicious dish combines the flavors of tender chicken with a crunchy, beer-infused batter, creating a sensational meal that your friends and family will rave about. Follow this easy recipe and learn how to make the best beer-battered chicken tenders right at home!

Ingredients:

– 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken tenders

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 2 teaspoons garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

– 3/4 cup cold beer (any variety, but a lager or pale ale is preferred)

– Oil for deep frying (vegetable or canola oil works best)

Dipping Sauce (optional):

– 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce or barbecue sauce

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Batter: In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix the dry ingredients together.

2. Slowly pour in the beer while gently whisking the mixture. Continue to whisk until all of the dry ingredients are combined with the beer and the batter becomes smooth without any clumps. Let the batter rest for about 10 minutes.

3. Heat the Oil: In a deep frying pan or a heavy-duty skillet, heat about two inches of oil to 375°F (190°C). Make sure to have a reliable kitchen thermometer on hand to ensure that you maintain the correct temperature throughout frying.

4. Prepare Chicken: While waiting for the oil to heat up, pat dry your chicken tenders using paper towels to remove any excess moisture.

5. Dip & Coat: Once the oil is at the right temperature, dip each chicken tender into the beer batter, making sure to fully coat it. Allow any excess batter to drip off before placing the chicken into the hot oil.

6. Fry Tenders: Gently lower each coated chicken tender into the oil, working in batches. Do not overcrowd the pan to avoid bringing down the oil temperature. Cook for approximately 3-4 minutes per side or until the tenders reach a golden-brown color and an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Keep an eye on your chicken tenders, as cooking times can vary depending on thickness.

7. Drain & Serve: Carefully remove each fried chicken tender from the hot oil using a slotted spoon or tongs, allowing any excess oil to drain off. Place them onto a paper towel-lined plate or tray to absorb any leftover grease. Once all of your tenders have been cooked, serve with your choice of dipping sauce and enjoy!

Conclusion:

This beer-battered chicken tenders recipe is an all-time favorite for its irresistible combination of succulent chicken and crunchy crust infused with beer essence. Try it at your next gathering, game night, or just as a tasty meal for your family – you won’t be disappointed!
