Introduction:

Baked feta has taken the world by storm, thanks to its incredible taste and simplicity. This delightful combination of creamy cheese with tangy blueberries is perfect for any dinner party or a cozy night in. This article will guide you through the steps on how to make the best baked feta and blueberries recipe.

Ingredients:

– 1 block of feta cheese (200g)

– 1 cup fresh blueberries

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves

– 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

– Crusty bread or crackers for serving

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While the oven warms up, prepare an oven-safe dish by lining it with parchment paper or thin foil.

2. Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the prepared dish and gently press down to create a slight indentation. This will help the toppings stay put as they melt together with the cheese.

3. Rinse and dry your fresh blueberries, then scatter them evenly around and on top of the feta cheese.

4. Drizzle the honey over both the feta cheese and blueberries, ensuring they are well coated for maximum flavor.

5. Remove fresh thyme leaves from their stems (discard stems) and sprinkle over the dish, followed by a generous grinding of black pepper.

6. Place your dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 20 minutes, until the feta becomes soft and golden brown while blueberries soften slightly.

7. Remove from oven carefully using oven mitts and let it sit for 5 minutes to cool down slightly. While still warm, serve the baked feta and blueberries alongside crusty bread or crackers for your guests to dip and enjoy!

Conclusion:

This baked feta and blueberries recipe is not only delicious but also visually stunning, making it an elegant addition to any gathering or a simple yet satisfying treat for yourself. With these easy steps, you’ll master the art of making baked feta—ready to delight your taste buds and impress your family and friends!
