Armed Suspect Arrested
Springfield Police arrested an armed suspect after a ShotSpotter activation. The suspect, Melvin Mercedes-Rodriguez, was found with a loaded firearm and approximately 14 grams of crack-cocaine. He faces multiple gun and drug charges.
