Introduction

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become a beloved game worldwide and its ever-evolving content continues to delight players. Happy Home Paradise is the newest DLC, which allows players to design vacation homes and unlock exciting features such as new furniture and custom designs. Let’s dive into how to access this captivating new content.

Step 1: Purchase the DLC

To access Happy Home Paradise, you’ll need to purchase the DLC through the Nintendo eShop. It is available for $24.99, or as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription. If you’re already subscribed to the latter, it will be automatically available at no additional cost.

Step 2: Update your Game

Before moving forward, make sure your game is updated to version 2.0 or later. You can do this by pressing the + button on your Switch console, selecting “Software Update,” and then “Via the Internet.”

Step 3: Accessing the Airport

Once you have purchased and updated, head over to your island’s airport and talk to Orville at the front desk. After discussing vacation home designing with him, he’ll offer you a ticket for a free boat ride to await Lottie.

Step 4: Meeting Lottie

Arriving at the Happy Home Paradise facility, Lottie – a charming character from previous Animal Crossing games – will greet you. After exchanging some dialogues about designing vacation homes for clients, she offers you a job as a vacation home designer.

Step 5: Take on Your First Assignment

Accept Lottie’s offer and embark on your first assignment in designing a client’s dream vacation rental. Utilize your creativity and select from an array of new furniture options, wallpapers, rugs, and more.

Step 6: Unlock More Features & Designs

As you complete assignments in Happy Home Paradise, you’ll gain access to even more design options and features to customize your clients’ vacation homes. This includes amassing new furniture, unlocking partition walls, and learning how to change the color of any item.

Conclusion

Now that you know how to access the Happy Home Paradise DLC, get ready to embark on a creative journey by designing stunning vacation homes and expanding your design skillset. Just remember, Animal Crossing: New Horizons continues to provide players with fresh new content and countless hours of entertainment!
