Amazon Launches Two New Fire HD 10 Tablets for Kids

Amazon has recently unveiled two new additions to its line of Fire HD 10 tablets tailored specifically for children: the Fire HD 10 Kids and the upgraded Fire HD 10 Kids Pro. These devices come packed with features designed to facilitate both entertainment and education, making them ideal tools for young tech users.

The Fire HD 10 Kids tablet boasts a larger 10.1-inch full HD display, providing more screen real estate for young users. The improved resolution offers a more immersive experience for kids who enjoy streaming educational content, playing games, or watching videos. With 32GB of storage that is expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card, children will have ample space for their favorite apps, books, and pictures.

One standout feature of the Fire HD 10 Kids is Amazon’s included one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+. This service provides access to over 20,000 age-appropriate books, videos, apps, games, and Audible books from popular brands such as Disney, Nickelodeon, and Sesame Street. After the first year, the subscription can be renewed at a monthly fee starting at $2.99.

Parents can rest easy with the comprehensive parental controls available on the Fire HD 10 Kids tablet. These controls allow parents to set time limits on individual apps and categories and even set bedtimes. In addition to this, parents can filter content according to their child’s age by selecting which content is appropriate for their kids via the easy-to-use Parent Dashboard.

On top of these fantastic features, Amazon is also including a kid-proof case designed to withstand rough play. The case comes in three vibrant colors: Sky Blue, Aquamarine, and Lavender. The company also backs each tablet purchase with a two-year worry-free guarantee – if the tablet breaks within that time frame, Amazon will replace it.

The upgraded version, the Fire HD 10 Kids Pro, is targeted at older children aged 6 to 12. This tablet comes with a more professional looking slim case and provides access to more advanced digital content like coding tutorials and practice workbooks. Parents can also set up access to filtered web browsing for their older children using the built-in Amazon’s kidSafe browser.

Both the Fire HD 10 Kids and Fire HD 10 Kids Pro will be available for pre-order starting today, with prices at $199.99 and $199.99 respectively. Shipping is expected to begin on May 26th.

In conclusion, Amazon’s launch of these two new Fire HD 10 tablets for kids marks an exciting leap forward in children’s digital entertainment and learning. With an expansive library of age-appropriate content and comprehensive parental controls, parents can feel confident that their child is exploring technology in a safe and secure environment.
