As digital art and design continue to grow in popularity, many people are turning to Paint 3D as their go-to software for creating art and 3D models. While the program is intuitive and user-friendly, it can be helpful to know some keyboard shortcuts to make your workflow even smoother. Here are some of the most essential Paint 3D keyboard shortcuts you need to know.

1. Ctrl + N

This shortcut opens a new blank canvas in Paint 3D. It’s a quick and easy way to get started on a new project without having to navigate through menus.

2. Ctrl + O

This shortcut opens an existing file in Paint 3D. Whether you’re picking up where you left off or importing an image to use as a reference, this shortcut saves time by eliminating the need to manually open files.

3. Ctrl + S

This shortcut saves your current project in Paint 3D. Make it a habit to save your work frequently to avoid losing progress due to unexpected crashes or power outages.

4. Ctrl + Shift + S

This shortcut opens the Save As dialog box, allowing you to rename and save your project under a new name or in a different location.

5. Ctrl + Z

This shortcut undoes the last action you performed in Paint 3D. Whether you made a mistake or just don’t like the way something looks, this command saves you the hassle of manually undoing changes.

6. Ctrl + Shift + Z

This shortcut redoes the last action you undid in Paint 3D. If you change your mind about an undo action, this shortcut brings it back quickly.

7. Ctrl + A

This shortcut selects all the elements in your project, such as shapes or lines. It’s a quick way to move or copy all elements at once.

8. Ctrl + C

This shortcut copies the selected elements. Whether you want to duplicate an element or transfer it to a different project, this shortcut is essential.

9. Ctrl + V

This shortcut pastes the copied or cut elements into your project. Use it to easily move elements from one part of your project to another.

10. Ctrl + X

This shortcut cuts the selected elements. If you want to remove an element from your project entirely, this command is a quick way to do it.

11. Ctrl + Shift + B

This shortcut shows or hides the bounding box around selected objects. Use it to see the precise boundaries of your objects and adjust them accordingly.

12. Ctrl + E

This shortcut opens the Export menu, allowing you to export your project to a specific file format. Whether you’re sharing your work or converting it to a different format, this command makes it easy.

In conclusion, these Paint 3D keyboard shortcuts can help you speed up your workflow and create art with more precision and efficiency. With a bit of practice, they’ll become second nature, and you’ll wonder how you ever managed without them. So, go ahead and give them a try. Happy creating!
