AOL mail is one of the popular email clients across the globe. It has millions of active users and is widely used for personal and business communication. However, AOL mail users sometimes face issues while accessing their accounts on the iPhone. The most common issue faced by AOL mail users on the iPhone is the AOL mail not working. If you are facing a similar issue, you can follow the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps to fix the AOL mail not working on the iPhone.

Check your network connection: Before you start troubleshooting, make sure that your iPhone is connected to a stable and active internet connection. AOL mail needs a stable internet connection to work properly. You can try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa to check if the internet connection is the issue.

Check server status: Another common reason behind AOL mail not working on the iPhone is the server issue. You can check the server status on AOL’s official website or social media pages. If the server is down, then the issue is on AOL’s end, and you need to wait until the issue is resolved.

Restart the app: Sometimes, just restarting the app can fix the AOL mail not working issue on the iPhone. Close the AOL mail app and reopen it to see if the issue is resolved. If not, move to the next troubleshooting step.

Clear cache and cookies: Clearing cache and cookies on your iPhone can resolve several issues, including AOL mail not working. To clear the cache and cookies, go to Settings> Safari> Clear History and Website Data> Clear History and Data.

Update the app: Make sure that your AOL mail app is up to date. An outdated app can also cause several issues, including the AOL mail not working issue. To update the AOL mail app, go to the App Store> Updates> AOL Mail> Update.

Reset your AOL mail account: If none of the above-mentioned steps worked, then you can try resetting your AOL mail account. Delete the AOL account from your iPhone and add it again. To do this, go to Settings> Accounts and Passwords> Add Account> AOL.
