IFTTT, short for “If This Then That,” is a powerful automation tool that allows users to create “recipes” to automate tasks between different apps and services. However, some users may not find IFTTT to be the perfect solution for their automation needs, and may be looking for alternatives. Here are some of the best IFTTT alternatives you might not have heard about:

1. Zapier

Zapier is a powerful automation tool with integration to thousands of apps, including popular ones like Gmail, Trello, Dropbox, and Slack. Zapier allows users to create “zaps” which automate tasks based on a trigger and an action. Zapier has a free plan with limitations, and paid plans with more features.

2. Microsoft Flow

Microsoft Flow is a powerful automation tool that integrates with Microsoft Office 365 suite of products, as well as many other popular apps like Salesforce, Dropbox, and Slack. Microsoft Flow allows users to create “flows” which automate tasks based on a trigger and an action. Microsoft Flow also has a free plan with limitations, and paid plans with more features.

3. Integromat

Integromat is a powerful automation tool with integration to hundreds of apps, including popular ones like Slack, Trello, and Google Drive. Integromat allows users to create “scenarios” which automate tasks based on a trigger and an action, but also allows for more complex workflows with conditional logic and multiple steps. Integromat has a free plan with limitations, and paid plans with more features.

4. Automate.io

Automate.io is a powerful automation tool with integration to hundreds of apps, including popular ones like Shopify, Salesforce, and Mailchimp. Automate.io allows users to create “bots” which automate tasks based on a trigger and an action, but also allows for complex workflows with conditional logic and multiple steps. Automate.io has a free plan with limitations, and paid plans with more features.

In summary, IFTTT may not be the perfect solution for every user’s automation needs. The above alternatives are powerful automation tools with integration to a vast array of apps and services, and offer more complex workflows with conditional logic and advanced features. Each of these alternatives has its own pricing plans, but they all offer a free plan with limitations to get started. It’s worth exploring these alternatives to find the best automation tool for your individual needs.
