In this article, we’ll take a look at the top streaming services you can use on your Nintendo Switch.

  1. Netflix

Netflix is perhaps the most popular streaming service in the world, and for good reason. The service has a vast library of movies, TV shows, and Netflix Originals. The app can be downloaded for free from the Nintendo eShop.

Once downloaded, you can sign in with your Netflix account and start watching your favorite shows and movies. The Switch’s screen makes for a great mobile viewing experience, whether you’re at home or on the go.

  1. Hulu

Hulu is another popular streaming service that offers a similar library of TV shows, movies, and Hulu Originals as Netflix. The app can be downloaded for free from the Nintendo eShop.

With Hulu, you can also watch live TV from over 60 channels, including sports, news, and entertainment. To access Hulu’s live TV feature, you will need to have an active subscription to their Live TV service.

  1. YouTube

YouTube is the world’s largest online video sharing platform with billions of videos available to watch. The YouTube app is available for download on the Nintendo eShop for free.

With YouTube on your Nintendo Switch, you can watch music videos, vlogs, comedy sketches, and much more. You can also access YouTube Premium for an ad-free experience and offline playback of videos.

  1. Amazon Prime Video

If you have an Amazon Prime subscription, you can watch Amazon Prime Video on your Nintendo Switch. The app can be downloaded for free from the Nintendo eShop.

Amazon Prime Video offers a vast library of movies, TV shows, and Amazon Originals. With the Switch’s portability, you can watch your favorite shows and movies on the go.

  1. Funimation

Anime fans can now watch their favorite shows on their Nintendo Switch with Funimation. The app can be downloaded for free from the Nintendo eShop.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
