As a die-hard fan of the Resident Evil franchise, you must be excited to know that Capcom has released current-gen upgrades for Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7. But the question is, how can you claim your free upgrades? Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered with this step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

Before proceeding with the claims process, you must ensure that you’re eligible for the free upgrade. The upgrade is available for players who own the digital versions of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

Step 2: Go to Capcom’s Website

Once you’ve confirmed your eligibility, you need to visit Capcom’s website, where you can find information on how to claim your free upgrades. You can do this by navigating to https://game.capcom.com/residentevil/en/current-gen-upgrades.

Step 3: Select Your Platform

The next step is to select your platform of choice. You’ll be given two options, PlayStation or Xbox. Select the platform where you already own the games you wish to upgrade.

Step 4: Create a Capcom Account

If you already have an account on the Capcom website, then you don’t need to create a new one. However, if you’re new to the website, you’ll need to create an account before proceeding. Click on the ‘Create an account’ button and follow the instructions to set up your account.

Step 5: Sign In

After creating an account or logging in to your existing account, you’ll be redirected to the page where you can claim your free upgrades. You need to sign in to your account to continue with the process.

Step 6: Enter Your Details

Once signed in, provide essential details such as your name, date of birth, and email address. Then, select the games you want to upgrade and the platform where you currently own them.

Step 7: Verify Your Ownership

Before proceeding with the claim process, you must verify your ownership of the games. You can do this by providing proof of purchase, such as a screenshot of your purchase history or an email receipt.

Step 8: Claim Your Free Upgrade

After verifying your ownership, you can now claim your free upgrades. Click on the ‘Confirm’ button to complete the process. Now, your upgraded game(s) will be available for download on your current-gen console.

Conclusion

Claiming your free Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 current-gen upgrades is simple and straightforward. Follow the steps outlined above, and you’ll be able to upgrade your games in no time. With the upgraded versions, you’ll get to experience better graphics, improved gameplay, and other additional features that make the game more exciting. Happy gaming!
