If you’ve recently upgraded to Windows 10, you may be wondering how to change your Wi-Fi password. Changing your Wi-Fi password can help keep your network secure and protect your personal information. In this article, we’ll guide you through the simple steps to change your Wi-Fi password in Windows 10.

Step 1: Access Your Router’s Control Panel

To change your Wi-Fi password, you need to access your router’s control panel. The control panel varies depending on your router’s manufacturer, so check your router’s manual for specific information on how to access it. However, most routers can be accessed by typing the IP address (often “192.168.1.1” or “192.168.0.1”) into a web browser.

Step 2: Log In to Your Router

Once you’ve accessed your router’s control panel, log in to the panel using the admin credentials provided. If you haven’t changed these credentials, they may be printed on the router itself or in the manual.

Step 3: Find the Wi-Fi Settings

After logging in to your router’s control panel, locate the Wi-Fi settings. This setting may be labeled “Wireless,” “Wi-Fi,” or something similar.

Step 4: Change Your Wi-Fi Password

Once you’ve located the Wi-Fi settings, look for the password or security settings. Depending on your router, you may find this under a “Security” or “Password” option. Here, you can change your Wi-Fi password to whatever you’d like.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

After changing your Wi-Fi password, make sure to save your changes before leaving the control panel. Your router may prompt you to restart the device, so do so if necessary.

Step 6: Update Your Wi-Fi Password in Windows 10

After changing your Wi-Fi password in your router’s control panel; you’ll need to update it on your Windows 10 device. To do this, click on the Wi-Fi icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen, select your Wi-Fi network from the list, and enter your new password when prompted.

In conclusion, changing your Wi-Fi password in Windows 10 is a simple process that can help protect your personal information and secure your network. Follow these easy steps to update your Wi-Fi password in just a few minutes.
