As technology continues to advance day by day, we are becoming more reliant on digital platforms and services to feed us information. One such platform is Google Discover, a personalized content feed that allows users to discover news and information based on their interests and browsing history. In this article, we’ll explore what Google Discover is and how to use it on an Android device.

What Is Google Discover?

Originally called Google Feed, Google Discover is a personalized content feed that was launched in 2017. It uses machine learning to analyze a user’s search history, location, and other behavior to come up with customized content. Users can see news stories, weather forecasts, sports scores, videos, and other information directly in their feed, eliminating the need to visit multiple websites or apps.

How to Use Google Discover on Android

Google Discover is available on most Android devices, and you can access it by following the steps below:

Step 1: Swipe right on your home screen or tap and hold the Home button to access the Google app.

Step 2: Tap on the ‘Google Discover’ icon (also known as the Google Feed) located on the bottom left of the screen.

Step 3: You will now be redirected to your Google Discover feed, which will show you a variety of content to browse. Customize Your Feed with the Following Steps:

– Tap the three horizontal lines icon located on the bottom right of the screen.

– Tap ‘Settings’.

– Select ‘General’ to customize your feed based on your interests.

– Select ‘Account & Privacy’ to control what data is used to tailor your content.

In addition to personalizing your feed, you can also:

– Save stories for later: Simply tap the bookmark icon on the bottom right of the article you would like to save, and it will be stored in a reading list.

– Dislike content: If you come across a story that you don’t want to see in your feed again, tap the three dots on the top right corner of the article and select ‘Not interested.’

Conclusion

Google Discover is a great tool for users who want to stay updated on their interests without having to search the web manually. Its personalized approach allows users to enjoy a more curated and customized experience that is tailored to their browsing behavior. With these easy steps, anyone can explore and enjoy their Google Discover feed on an Android device.
