2025 Lexus LX

The Lexus LX, the brand’s full-size luxury SUV, receives significant updates for the 2025 model year, further cementing its position as a capable off-roader with uncompromising luxury.
The most notable change for 2025 is the introduction of the LX 700h, Lexus‘s first hybrid powertrain in this model. The LX 700h combines a 3.4-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with an electric motor, delivering an impressive total system output of 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. This hybrid powertrain not only improves fuel efficiency but also enhances low-end torque for better off-road performance.
The traditional LX 600 model continues with its 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6, producing 409 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Both powertrains are mated to a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission.
Lexus introduces a new Overtrail grade for 2025, available exclusively on the LX 700h. This off-road-focused variant includes features such as front and rear locking differentials, all-terrain tires, and additional skid plates, enhancing the LX’s already formidable off-road capabilities.
The exterior receives subtle updates, including a revised spindle grille design and new wheel options. Inside, the LX benefits from an updated infotainment system running on Lexus Interface 2.0, offering improved usability and features. The dual-screen setup remains, with a 12.3-inch upper display and a 7-inch lower screen for climate and off-road controls.
Safety features are enhanced with the inclusion of Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 as standard across all LX models. This suite includes improved autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, and enhanced lane-keeping assist.
With a starting price expected to be around $90,000 for the LX 600 and slightly higher for the new LX 700h, the 2025 Lexus LX continues to offer a unique blend of luxury, technology, and genuine off-road capability. Its combination of refinement and ruggedness makes it a standout option in the full-size luxury SUV segment.
