Spread the love

1.Start with a light-hearted greeting: Instead of just saying “hi” or “hello,” try using a fun emoji or an interesting question to spark curiosity and show your playful side from the beginning.

2.Use humor: Guys love a good laugh, so using humor in your texts will not only make him smile but also show that you’re easygoing and fun to talk to.

3.Keep texts short and sweet: Long paragraphs can be overwhelming in a text conversation. Keep your texts short and to the point while still being engaging.

4.Compliment him: Everyone appreciates genuine compliments. If you’ve noticed something special about him, mention it in your texts to make him feel good and get his attention.

5.Show interest in his interests: Find out about his hobbies and ask questions related to them, showing that you’re genuinely interested in learning more about him and his passions.

6.Send a picture or meme: Break up the monotony of text messages by sending a funny meme or an interesting picture that reminds you of an inside joke or a shared experience.

7.Be mysterious: Don’t reveal everything about yourself all at once. Leave some things unsaid so he’ll want to continue the conversation and learn more about you.

8.Ask open-ended questions: Open-ended questions invite longer responses, encouraging deeper conversation and connection between the two of you.

9.Use flirty emojis: Flirty emojis can add some spice to your text conversations, making them more interesting and exciting for both parties involved.

10.Remember important dates: Acknowledging special occasions like his birthday or important milestones can show how much you care about him, strengthening your bond.

11.Be supportive: Offer encouragement when he shares accomplishments, challenges, or setbacks with you, letting him know that you’re there for him no matter what.

12.Share mutual interests: Discuss topics that you both enjoy and have common ground on, fostering stronger connections and more engaging conversations.

13.Offer to help: If he mentions a problem or a task he’s struggling with, offer your assistance or provide helpful suggestions.

14.Playfully tease him: Lightly poking fun at him can be an endearing way to build rapport and create a sense of familiarity between you.

15.Keep the conversation balanced: Make sure that you’re not dominating the conversation – give him ample opportunity to express his feelings and ideas as well.

16.Be patient: Give him time to respond, as people have different texting habits and some might not be as responsive as others. By being understanding and patient, you’ll demonstrate care and respect, further drawing his attention towards you.

Using these 16 ways to get attention from a guy over text will help you stand out and create engaging, memorable conversations that could lead to more meaningful connections in the long run. Keep it light-hearted, fun, and genuine for the best results.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
