Introduction:

Keeping your home network secure is essential, and one way to do this is by regularly updating your WiFi password. For Converge users, there are three simple methods you can use to change your password. In this article, we’ll guide you through each step for a seamless and hassle-free experience.

Method 1: Using The Converge Router Web Interface

1.Connect your device: Make sure that your computer or smartphone is connected to the Converge WiFi network.

2.Open a web browser: Open any web browser of your choice and type in the default gateway IP address for Converge routers (usually “192.168.1.1”) in the address bar, followed by pressing Enter.

3.Log in: Use the default username and password (“user” and “user123” in most cases) to log into the router’s web interface.

4.Access Wireless Settings: Go to the “Wireless” tab or section of the web interface and select “Wireless Security.”

5.Change Password: Look for the “Pre-shared Key” field, where you can edit your current WiFi password. Create a strong, secure password, and click on “Save” or “Apply” to save the changes.

Method 2: Using The Converge EasyMesh App

1.Download the app: Install the Converge EasyMesh app on your smartphone from either Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

2.Log in: Open the app and log in using your account credentials.

3.Access WiFi Settings: On the app’s main screen, tap on “WiFi Settings.”

4.Change Password: Tap on “Change Password,” then type in your new password twice (for confirmation). Ensure your new password is strong and secure to keep unauthorized users out of your network.

5.Save Changes: Tap on “Save” to complete the process.

Method 3: Contacting Converge Customer Support

1.Call customer support: If you’re having difficulty with any of the above methods, call Converge’s customer support hotline at (02) 8667-1111.

2.Verify your identity: Provide the Converge representative with necessary information to verify that you are the account holder.

3.Request a password change: Inform the representative that you’d like to change your WiFi password, and they’ll guide you through the process.

Conclusion:

Changing your Converge WiFi password is essential for maintaining network security and protecting your personal information. Utilize any of these three methods to easily update your password and keep your home network safe from potential threats. Regularly updating passwords also helps avoid accessibility issues caused by forgotten or stolen credentials. Stay vigilant and safeguard your digital assets with a strong, secure WiFi password.
