Buzz is a fun and interactive game that is both easy to learn and enjoyable to play. In this article, we’ll break down the game in 14 simple steps, so you can start playing today!

Step 1: Gather Players

Find a group of people who want to play Buzz. This game can be played by almost any number of players, but it’s best with at least 3-5.

Step 2: Choose a Starting Player

Determine which player will start the game. You can use any method of your choice, such as flipping a coin or spinning a bottle.

Step 3: Pick a Number for “Buzz”

Choose a number between 1 and 9 that will be designated as the “Buzz” number for the game.

Step 4: Begin Counting

The starting player begins counting aloud, starting from one. Each player takes turns counting in sequence.

Step 5: Replacing the Buzz Number

When a player reaches the chosen “Buzz” number or any multiple of that number, they must say “Buzz” instead of the number itself.

Step 6: Counting Numbers With Buzz in Them

If the chosen number is within a larger number (e.g., choosing 3 when counting to 23), the player must also say “Buzz” instead of that number.

Step 7: Continuing Counting

After saying “Buzz,” continue counting with the next player proceeding in sequence.

Step 8: Speed Matters

The game usually starts slow but picks up speed as players become more comfortable with the rules.

Step 9: Making Mistakes

If a player fails to say “Buzz” when required or says it at an incorrect time, they are out of the game.

Step 10: Removing Players

When removing a player from the game, they should step out of the playing area or just watch the remaining players continue.

Step 11: Last One Standing

Continue playing until only one player remains. The last person standing is the winner!

Step 12: Playing Multiple Rounds

Play as many rounds as you’d like, allowing everyone to get in the groove and give them a chance to win.

Step 13: Changing the Buzz Number

For added variety, change up the “Buzz” number from round to round, meaning different numbers will be replaced with “Buzz” each time.

Step 14: Have Fun!

Remember that the purpose of this game is to have a good time with friends or family. It’s a great way to create memories, so enjoy every moment!

Now that you know how to play Buzz in 14 easy steps, gather your friends and start counting!
