3 Ways to Find Music Using Spotify

Are you always on the hunt for new music to listen to? Look no further than Spotify, one of the most popular music streaming platforms in the world. With millions of songs and artists to choose from, it can be overwhelming to know where to start. In this article, we will explore three ways you can find music using Spotify.

1. Discover Weekly Playlist

One of the best features on Spotify is the “Discover Weekly” playlist. This is a personalized playlist that is updated automatically every Monday based on your listening habits. Discover Weekly provides you with 30 tracks that you may not have heard before or from artists that you may not be familiar with. This feature makes it easy for users to discover new music tailored to their preferences.

To access your Discover Weekly playlist, simply log in to your Spotify account and navigate to the “Made For You” tab on your home screen. Here, you can dive into your weekly mix of fresh tunes.

2. Browse Featured Playlists

Spotify offers a wide array of featured playlists based on various themes, genres, moods, and more. Browsing through these playlists is another great way to find new music while also enjoying songs that resonate with how you feel.

Some popular examples of featured playlists are “Today’s Top Hits,” “RapCaviar,” and even “Your Daily Mix,” which consists of different genres combined in one playlist created just for you based on what you have been listening to recently.

To explore these curated playlists, head over to the “Browse” section in the app or search for specific genres or moods.

3. Follow Friends and Artists

By following friends, artists, and other influencers on Spotify, you’ll get more tailored recommendations on what types of music and playlists they’re enjoying or creating themselves.

When you follow an artist on Spotify, new releases from their catalog will show up directly in your “Release Radar” playlist, ensuring you don’t miss out on fresh content. Spotify also helps you explore similar artists within every artist’s profile, so you can easily extend your music collection.

To follow a friend, link your Facebook account to your Spotify account or search for their username. For following artists, simply search for their name and click the “Follow” button under their profile image.

With these three different ways to find music on Spotify, you will never run out of wonderful songs to listen to again! So tune in, explore, and enjoy your musical journey.
