Amazon Prime Membership is a multi-faceted subscription service provided by Amazon, offering an array of benefits beyond the well-known perk of free delivery. Here’s what you get with your membership:

Video Streaming: Amazon Prime members have access to Prime Video, where they can enjoy a wide selection of movies, TV shows, and Amazon Original series at no additional cost.

Music Streaming: Prime Music is another benefit that allows members to listen to over two million songs without ads, and also curate their own playlists.

Reading Material: Through Prime Reading, members have access to a rotating selection of eBooks, magazines, comics, and more. For avid readers, this perk adds substantial value.

Gaming: Amazon has rolled out benefits for gamers with Twitch Prime, which includes free games every month and exclusive in-game content for popular games.

Prime Day and Deals: One of the most hyped benefits of being a Prime member is having exclusive access to Prime Day deals. Members also get early access to Lightning Deals throughout the year.

Unlimited Photo Storage: In the age of digital photography, having a safe place to store your memories is essential. Amazon Photos offers unlimited full-resolution photo storage and 5 GB for video storage.

Amazon Fresh and Pantry Access: Members in certain areas can take advantage of Amazon Fresh for grocery delivery or pickup services. They also get access to savings on pantry staples.

In short, an Amazon Prime membership unlocks an ecosystem of services that goes well beyond free delivery—from entertainment options to special sales events.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
