In today’s digital world, privacy is of utmost importance. Whether you need to make a confidential call or protect your identity from spammers, hiding your phone number can prove to be useful. For Samsung Galaxy users, there are several ways to hide your phone number. Here are five methods to help you safeguard your privacy when making calls using your Samsung Galaxy smartphone:

1. Block Caller ID for All Calls

Stealthily blocking your number for all calls is an easy way to stay anonymous. Follow these simple steps to achieve this:

– Open the Phone app on your Samsung Galaxy

– Tap the three-dot menu icon on the top-right corner

– Select ‘Settings’ from the list of options

– Scroll down and tap ‘More settings’

– Tap ‘Show my caller ID’

– Choose ‘Hide number’ from the available options

Now, whenever you make a call, your number will not be displayed.

2. Use a Prepaid Carrier

Prepaid carriers typically allow users to register without providing personal information. By using a prepaid SIM card, you can easily maintain anonymity and keep your phone number hidden. If necessary, use a separate device for further protection.

3. Call-by-Call Block

To block your caller ID for single call only, you can use the call-by-call block feature in most regions:

– Enter *67 before the phone number you wish to dial (e.g., *67 1234567890)

– Press the “Dial” button

– Your number will appear as “Unknown” or “Private” on the recipient’s device

Remember to use this method for each call you want to hide your number.

4. Use a Calling App

There are numerous apps available that allow you to make calls without sharing personal information such as Google Voice, WhatsApp, and Signal. Utilizing these apps with caller ID blocking or a VoIP service can offer an additional layer of security when making calls.

5. Request a New Phone Number

In extreme cases, obtaining a new phone number is another option. Contact your carrier to discuss the steps involved, and do not share the new number with anyone who you do not trust.

By following these methods, Samsung Galaxy users can take control of their privacy and ensure anonymity when needed. Always keep in mind that maintaining privacy is essential in today’s connected world.
