Fall is a wonderful season for creating engaging and festive bulletin boards and doors in your classroom. Here are 10 fantastic fall-themed ideas to inspire your creativity:

1. “Fall into Learning” Tree: Create a large tree trunk on your bulletin board and decorate it with colorful paper leaves. Each leaf can have a student’s name or something they are thankful for written on it.

2. Harvest Time: Use construction paper to create a farm scene on your bulletin board. Add scarecrows, pumpkins, and animals to set the autumn mood.

3. Falling Leaves: Cut out various sizes and shapes of leaves from colored paper and scatter them across your bulletin board. You can also use real leaves for a more natural touch.

4. Thankful Turkey: Draw a large turkey on your bulletin board and have students write what they are thankful for on colorful feathers. Attach the feathers to the turkey to create a heartfelt display.

5. Pumpkin Patch: Turn your door into a pumpkin patch by covering it in orange paper or fabric. Add paper pumpkins with students’ names on them to make it personalized.

6. A is for Apple: Create a large apple shape on your bulletin board and fill it with student-made artwork or with pictures of things related to fall, such as apple recipes or apple-themed books.

7. Fall Book Recommendations: Use your bulletin board to showcase a list of recommended fall-themed books. Allow students to write short book reviews to accompany each recommendation.

8. Football Fever: Decorate your door to look like a football field, complete with goalposts and a scoreboard. Add football-themed quotes or trivia to engage students.

9. Falling Confetti: Cut out leaf shapes from different colored paper and attach them to strings. Hang the strings from the top of your door, creating a falling confetti effect.

10. Scary Good Writing: Set up a spooky scene on your bulletin board with black paper and Halloween-themed decorations. Encourage students to write their own scary stories to display.

Remember to involve students in the process and provide opportunities for them to contribute their own ideas and artwork. These fall bulletin boards and doors will create a welcoming and engaging learning environment for your students. Have fun decorating!

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
