Purchasing a new car is a momentous occasion that also comes with the responsibility of ensuring you get the best new car warranty. With so many options available in today’s market, it’s essential to compare and contrast different warranties to determine which one suits your needs best.

This article will explore the top new car warranties currently being offered, focusing on factors such as coverage duration, benefits available, and manufacturer reputation. So, let’s dive in!

1. Hyundai

Hyundai’s new car warranty is considered one of the best. It comprises a 10-year or 100,000-miles powertrain warranty and a 5-year or 60,000-miles bumper-to-bumper warranty. In addition to these attractive coverage plans, Hyundai also offers a 7-year anti-perforation warranty and 5-year unlimited roadside assistance.

2. Kia

Sharing similarities with Hyundai, Kia provides an excellent powertrain warranty for ten years or 100,000 miles and a outstanding comprehensive warranty lasting five years or 60,000 miles. Besides these cornerstone features, they also offer a 5-year/100,000-mile limited anti-perforation warranty and a roadside assistance program for 5 years or 60,000 miles.

3. Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi is another top contender in the warranty game with its impressive plans. Their powertrain warranty covers ten years or 100,000 miles, while their new vehicle limited warranty guarantees bumper-to-bumper coverage for five years or 60,000 miles. To further enhance their offerings, Mitsubishi includes a generous 7-year anti-corrosion/perforation limited warranty and roadside assistance for five years.

4. Volkswagen

While Volkswagen’s warranties don’t necessarily follow the industry-leading templates above, they still provide satisfactory coverage for potential buyers. Their bumper-to-bumper limited warranty functions over six years or 72,000 miles. Most American-market Volkswagen models are accompanied by a 7-year, 100,000-mile warranty against corrosion or perforation. However, their powertrain warranties differ among models, requiring customers to get inquiring within.

5. Genesis

The luxury car brand from Hyundai, Genesis, offers an excellent new vehicle warranty. The bumper-to-bumper limited warranty extends over five years or 60,000 miles, while the powertrain warranty lasts ten years or 100,000 miles. Additionally, Genesis includes a 7-year anti-perforation warranty and roadside assistance for five years with no mileage restrictions.

When shopping for a new car and considering various warranties, remember: prioritize which factors are most essential for you. For instance, do you require comprehensive coverage for the peace of mind or aim for longer coverage? Are roadside assistance and anti-perforation warranties vital to you? By pinpointing your needs and researching the features accompanying each offering, you’ll be better positioned to make an informed decision.
