2024 Subaru Impreza Gets Price Hike, More Standard Equipment

Subaru has announced that the 2024 Impreza will receive a price hike as well as more standard equipment. The Japanese automaker has instituted these changes to compete with rivals in the crowded compact car segment.

The Subaru Impreza has a long-standing reputation for delivering reliability, practicality, and impressive safety features. To maintain this reputation and improve upon it, the 2024 model year will see a number of substantial upgrades.

Firstly, the new Impreza will come with an increase in price, making it closer to its competitors in terms of cost. The base model of the 2024 Subaru Impreza will now start at $19,995, which marks a slight increase from the previous model year.

The company justifies the price increase by offering upgraded materials and implementing advanced technology into their latest compact sedan. Some of these enhancements include improved interior materials that enhance passenger comfort and ambiance.

Additionally, the 2024 Impreza boasts an array of new standard equipment in every trim level. Some key features include the Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology suite, which is now standard on all models equipped with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). This package offers advanced safety capabilities such as pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and lane-keep assist.

Furthermore, the 2024 Subaru Impreza incorporates other upgrades to enhance value for money. These improvements include an upgraded infotainment system with a larger touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

Subaru’s emphasis on performance remains unchanged for the 2024 model year. The Impreza continues to offer its signature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system as standard across all trims. This feature sets it apart from most competitors in the compact segment that typically offer front-wheel drive by default.

Under the hood, there is no change in the powertrain options. The 2024 Impreza is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine, which delivers 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. Buyers can choose between a five-speed manual transmission or opt for the more fuel-efficient CVT.

With these updates, Subaru aims to satisfy its existing customer base and appeal to new buyers who are looking for a well-rounded, technologically advanced compact sedan. The combination of the Impreza’s renowned safety features, standard all-wheel-drive system, and improved amenities proves that Subaru is serious about keeping its place in the competitive compact car market.

The 2024 Subaru Impreza will hit dealerships in late 2023, with an increased starting price and more standard equipment.
