As a writer, designer or just someone who loves using special characters, you may have encountered moments when you needed to type a particular symbol, but it was nowhere to be found on your keyboard. That’s where Alt codes come in handy.

Alt codes are specific combinations of keys that allow you to insert special characters and symbols into your documents or text. The best part: you don’t need to download any special software or memorize each code by heart, as they are built-in on your keyboard.

If you’re using Windows, then you’re in luck. Here is a list of some of the most helpful Windows Alt codes that you can use to level up your content creation game.
