Google Earth is a program that allows you to view satellite imagery of the entire planet. With its advanced 3D imagery and mapping technology, you can view and explore any location on Earth from the comfort of your own computer or mobile device. Whether you are a student, a professional, or just someone who wants to see how their house looks like from space, Google Earth has all the tools you need to get a satellite view of your house.

Here are the steps on how to get a satellite view of your house using Google Earth:

Step 1: Go to Google Earth

Start by opening up the Google Earth website on your computer or downloading the app on your mobile device. Google Earth is available for free on both iOS and Android devices.

Step 2: Enter the location of your house

Enter the address of your house or the name of your city, state, or country into the search bar at the top of the screen. Make sure to enter your address accurately to get a precise 3D satellite view of your house.

Step 3: Switch to satellite view

To switch to satellite view, click on the menu icon located in the top left corner of the screen. Then, select the “Satellite” option from the list of view options.

Step 4: Zoom in to your house

Use the zoom function on the map to zoom in to your house. You can use the scroll wheel on your mouse or the pinch-to-zoom gesture on your mobile device to zoom in and out. You can also move the map around by click-and-drag or by swiping on your mobile device.

Step 5: Explore your house in 3D

Once you have zoomed in to your house, you will be able to see it in 3D satellite view. You can rotate the view by click-and-drag or by using the compass in the top right corner of the screen. You can also tilt the view by clicking and dragging the slider located in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Step 6: Save your satellite view

After exploring your house in 3D, you can save your satellite view as an image file by clicking on the camera icon located in the menu bar. This will save the current view of your house as a PNG file that you can use or share with others.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
