When it comes to fitness, variety is not only the spice of life, but it’s also the key to overall body fitness. Exercising doesn’t have to be a monotonous routine. Let me introduce you to eight top exercises that fitness trainers want you to try.

1. Burpees:Time to embrace the full body workout! Burpees work your chest, shoulders, triceps, quads, glutes and hamstrings. Start in a push-up position, do a push-up, then jump your feet to your hands. Then jump up and start again!

2. Squats: Squats are fantastic for building leg strength and toning lower body muscles. Keep your back straight as you bend your knees as if you’re sitting back into a chair. Make sure your knees don’t go beyond your toes!

3. Planks: Planks target your core muscles and improve your overall stability. The key is maintaining correct form – hold your body in a straight line from head to toe without letting your hips drop.

4. Deadlifts: This is an excellent compound exercise that targets multiple muscle groups including the back and legs. The important thing about deadlifts is using the right technique, so take time to learn this move properly.

5. Mountain Climbers: An intense full-body workout that will get your heart rate up and boost calorie burning. Like the Burpee, it requires no equipment and can be done anywhere.

6. Jump Rope:Simple yet effective for cardio training while also working on coordination and agility skills. Jump rope exercises can be adapted for all fitness levels.

7. Pull-ups: A challenging upper-body workout that focuses on strengthening the arms and back. It can take time to manage a full pull-up but there are many modified versions for beginners.

8. Push-ups: They never go out of style because they’re unbeatable at building upper body strength. Just make sure you’re maintaining good form – no sagging middles!

Remember, it’s always best practice to warm up before starting these exercises and cool down afterwards for maximum benefit and injury prevention.

These eight exercises promise loads of sweat and tons of burn! So why not talk with a professional trainer about incorporating some of these movements into your next workout?

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
