As the landscape of film and television continues to evolve with streaming services like Netflix, it’s become increasingly interesting to track movies that have managed to wow critics across the board. Receiving a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes is no small feat; it means that every single critic who reviewed the film gave it a positive review. Netflix has an ever-changing library, but here are seven films available on the platform that have achieved this rare accolade.

1. “His House” (2020) – This horror-thriller directed by Remi Weekes tells a harrowing story of a refugee couple from South Sudan struggling to adjust to their new life in an English town that has an unspeakable evil lurking beneath the surface.

2. “Athlete A” (2020) – This powerful documentary follows the reporters who broke the story of doctor Larry Nassar’s abuse of USA gymnastics’ athletes, which then delved deeper into the culture of suppression within competitive gymnastics.

3. “13th” (2016) – Directed by Ava DuVernay, this documentary analyzes the intersection of race, justice, and mass incarceration in the United States, particularly focused on the nation’s prisons that are disproportionately filled with African-Americans.

4. “Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution” (2020) – Produced by Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company, this documentary tells the inspirational story of a groundbreaking summer camp for teens with disabilities which helped shape the future of the disability rights movement.

5. “The Disciple” (2020) – Chaitanya Tamhane’s drama explores themes of passion and obsession as it follows an Indian classical music vocalist who starts to question his capabilities and his life choices as he strives for excellence in his field.

6. “Dick Johnson Is Dead” (2020) – This unique blend of documentary and dark comedy directed by Kirsten Johnson stages imaginative ways in which her aging father Dick could ultimately die, creating a humorous yet touching exploration of mortality.

7. “American Factory” (2019) – Another gem from the Obamas’ production house, this Oscar-winning documentary offers a deep dive into post-industrial Ohio where a Chinese billionaire opened a factory in an abandoned General Motors plant, bringing together high-tech China and working-class America.

Each movie listed not only provides entertainment but also brings forth compelling stories and poignant insights into different facets of life and society. As Netflix continues to add original content to its roster, we can expect this list of 100% Rotten Tomatoes-rated films to grow in diversity and depth.
