In recent years, brokerage firms have been offering an array of promotions and bonuses to attract new clients and strengthen their market presence. If you’re considering opening a new brokerage account or switching brokers, why not take advantage of these attractive offers? In this article, we’ll examine the 7 best brokerage account promotions and bonuses currently available.

1. E*TRADE – Earn up to $3,000 in bonus cash

E*TRADE offers a tiered cash bonus based on your initial deposit when you open a new account. You can earn anywhere from $50 to $3,000 in bonus cash by depositing the required amount within 60 days of account opening. For instance, if you deposit at least $10,000, you’ll receive a $50 bonus; for a $1 million deposit, you’ll enjoy the maximum $3,000 cash payout.

2. TD Ameritrade – Receive up to a $600 bonus

TD Ameritrade also provides tiered cash bonuses for new clients who fund their accounts with qualifying deposits. By depositing between $25,000 and $99,999 within 60 days of account opening, you’ll secure a $100 bonus; accounts funded with over $250,000 receive the highest bonus of $600.

3. Charles Schwab – Earn up to 500 free trades

Charles Schwab’s unique promotion offers new customers up to 500 commission-free online equity or options trades when they open an eligible account with at least $100,000 in qualifying assets within 45 days of enrollment. As an added perk, options contract fees are waived for these free trades as well.

4. Ally Invest – Get up to $3,500 in cash bonuses

Ally Invest rewards its new customers with cash bonuses based on their initial deposit amounts within the first 60 days. Those depositing between $10,000 and $24,999 receive a $100 bonus, while those funding their account with over $2 million claim the maximum bonus of $3,500.

5. Fidelity – Earn up to 500 free trades

Fidelity is another leading brokerage firm offering a substantial promotion. Upon opening and depositing at least $50,000 into a new eligible account within 60 days, clients can receive up to 500 commission-free trades for two years.

6. Merrill Edge – Gain up to $600 in cash bonuses

Merrill Edge provides a tiered cash bonus structure for new clients depositing the required amounts within 45 days of account opening. Deposits between $20,000 and $49,999 receive a $100 bonus, while accounts funded with over $200,000 secure the maximum cash reward of $600.

7. Webull – Enjoy free stocks worth up to $1,650

Webull’s promotional offer extends free stocks to new users who open an account and make a qualifying deposit. Upon account opening, you’ll receive one free share priced between $3 and $300; if you fund your account with at least $5 within 30 days, you’ll obtain an additional free stock valued between $8 and $2,000.

In conclusion, these brokerage account promotions and bonuses present a notable opportunity for both seasoned investors and beginner traders to earn extra rewards. Be sure to keep an eye on these lucrative offers when opening your new brokerage account or making the switch between brokers.
