Milk: Milk is not just for kids. It’s rich in calcium and vitamin D, two critical nutrients for bone health. Adults can benefit from drinking milk too, whether it be cow’s milk or fortified plant-based options like almond, soy, or oat milk.

Fortified Orange Juice: Many brands of orange juice are now fortified with both calcium and vitamin D. This offers a refreshing way to consume these important bone-strengthening nutrients while also getting a dose of vitamin C.

Green Tea: Loaded with flavonoids, green tea can help maintain bone density and support overall bone health. It offers the added benefits of improving heart health and providing antioxidants that combat free radicals.

Bone Broth: Made by simmering bones for an extended period, this broth is rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and other trace minerals that are easily absorbed by the body, making it an excellent drink for bone support.

Almond Milk: Naturally dairy-free, unsweetened almond milk is a good source of calcium and often fortified with vitamins D and E. It’s a great alternative for those who are lactose intolerant or following a vegan diet but still want to ensure they’re supporting their bone health.

About Us

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject. From time to time, I will invite other voices to weigh in on important issues in EdTech. We hope to provide a well-rounded, multi-faceted look at the past, present, the future of EdTech in the US and internationally.

We started this journey back in June 2016, and we plan to continue it for many more years to come. I hope that you will join us in this discussion of the past, present and future of EdTech and lend your own insight to the issues that are discussed.
