Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode enhances the experience of using messaging apps by allowing you to multitask while participating in video calls or watching video messages. However, users may sometimes face issues where PiP is not working properly on their iPhone or Android devices in apps like Telegram. If you’re encountering this problem, here are five best fixes to try:

1. Update the Telegram App:

Ensure that you’re using the latest version of Telegram. Developers continuously issue updates to fix bugs and improve overall functionality. You can check for updates in the App Store on iPhone or Google Play Store on Android.

2. Check Your Device’s Operating System Updates:

Besides updating the app, make sure that your device’s operating system is up-to-date. New updates for iOS and Android often contain essential fixes that can help apps run more smoothly, including fixing any PiP mode issues.

3. Review PiP Settings:

On both iPhone and Android, you need to ensure that PiP settings are configured correctly. On an iPhone, go to ‘Settings’ then ‘General’, and tap on ‘Picture in Picture’ to confirm it’s turned on. For Android, go to ‘Settings’, tap on ‘Apps’, and select ‘Special access’. From there, choose ‘Picture-in-picture’ and make sure Telegram is allowed to use it.

4. Restart Your Device:

Sometimes a simple restart can resolve unexpected glitches affecting apps like Telegram. Turn off your phone and then turn it back on to see if this solves the PiP problem.

5. Reinstall Telegram:

If none of the above steps work, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Telegram app. This can often reset app settings and clear out any data that may be causing issues with PiP mode.

By following these steps, you should be able to address most issues with Picture-in-Picture not working in Telegram on both iPhone and Android devices. Remember that for some devices or specific situations, additional troubleshooting steps may be required.
