Introduction:

Ginger is a popular and effective natural remedy known for its anti-inflammatory properties, which can help in soothing various ailments such as nausea, colds, and stomach aches. When it comes to curing stomach aches, ginger works wonders due to its digestive benefits. In this article, we will explore four ways to use ginger as a natural remedy for stomach pain.

1. Ginger Tea

One of the simplest and most common ways to use ginger for stomach aches is by brewing ginger tea. Here’s how you can make ginger tea:

Ingredients:

– Fresh ginger (1 inch piece)

– Boiling water (1 cup)

– Honey (optional)

Instructions:

1. Peel and thinly slice the fresh ginger.

2. Place the ginger slices in a cup.

3. Pour boiling water over the ginger and let it steep for about 5 minutes.

4. Strain the tea to remove the ginger slices.

5. Optionally, sweeten the tea with honey according to your taste.

6. Drink warm and enjoy instant relief from your stomach ache.

2. Ginger Candy

Another tasty way to consume ginger for stomach ache relief is through ginger candies.

Ingredients:

– Fresh ginger (1 cup, finely chopped)

– Granulated sugar (1 cup)

– Water (½ cup)

Instructions:

1. Cook the chopped ginger, sugar, and water on low heat in a saucepan until the mixture becomes sticky.

2. Pour this mixture onto parchment paper and spread it evenly using a spatula.

3. Allow it to cool down before cutting it into small pieces or desired shapes.

4. Once completely cooled, you can store these candies in an airtight container and consume them whenever needed for stomach ache relief.

3. Ginger Smoothie

Another delicious method of incorporating ginger into your diet is by making a delectable smoothie.

Ingredients:

– Fresh ginger (1-inch piece)

– Banana (1)

– Frozen spinach (1 cup)

– Frozen pineapple chunks (1 cup)

– Coconut water or almond milk (1 cup)

Instructions:

1. Peel and slice the fresh ginger.

2. Add all the ingredients, including sliced ginger, into a blender.

3. Blend until smooth and creamy.

4. Pour into a glass and enjoy this stomach ache-soothing smoothie.

4. Ginger Essential Oil

Ginger essential oil can also be used for stomach ache relief when applied topically.

Instructions:

1. Dilute a few drops of ginger essential oil with a carrier oil like coconut or almond oil.

2. Gently massage the diluted oil onto your abdomen in a clockwise motion.

3. Allow the oil to absorb into your skin and witness the improvement in your stomachache.

Conclusion:

Ginger is a versatile and accessible natural remedy for stomach ache relief. Whether you choose to drink it as tea, eat it as candy, blend it in a smoothie, or apply essential oil, you can supercharge your body’s digestive system and find relief from stomach pain without reaching for over-the-counter medications. Always consult with your healthcare professional before trying any new remedies, especially if you have underlying health conditions or are taking medications.
