Bagel Bites are a popular and delicious snack choice for people of all ages. These mini bagels topped with cheese, sauce, and various toppings are easy to make and serve as the perfect appetizer, snack, or party finger-food.
In this article, we will explore four different ways to cook Bagel Bites:
in the oven, toaster oven, microwave, and air fryer.

1. Oven Baking Bagel Bites

Oven baking is a classic cooking method that brings out the best in Bagel Bites—crispy exteriors with soft interiors.

Here’s how to cook Bagel Bites in the oven:

– Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

– Arrange the Bagel Bites on a baking sheet at least 1 inch apart.

– Place the baking sheet on the middle rack of your preheated oven.

– Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

2. Cooking Bagel Bites in a Toaster Oven

If you don’t have access to an oven or prefer a smaller appliance, a toaster oven is an excellent alternative.

To cook Bagel Bites in a toaster oven:

– Preheat your toaster oven to 400°F (200°C).

– Arrange the Bagel Bites on a toaster oven-safe tray.

– Cook for 14 to 16 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

3. Microwaving Bagel Bites

When you’re short on time or craving a quick snack, using a microwave is an easy and fast way to cook Bagel Bites.

Here are the steps to microwave them:

– Place Bagel Bites on a microwave-safe plate.

– Cover the plate loosely with microwave-safe wax paper or paper towel.

– Microwave on high for 2 minutes or more depending on your microwave wattage (Refer to package instructions for accurate cooking time).

– Pause and check at 1-minute intervals to ensure even cooking and prevent overcooking.

4. Cooking Bagel Bites in an Air Fryer

Air frying is a trendy and healthier cooking method that uses hot air circulation to create a crispy texture.

To cook Bagel Bites in an air fryer:

– Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).

– Place the Bagel Bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.

– Cook for 5 to 8 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

Each of these methods provides distinct textures and results, from crispy oven-baked bites to the quick convenience of microwaving. Regardless of your preferred method, you can enjoy delicious and perfectly-cooked Bagel Bites every time by following these simple steps. Happy snacking!
