Introduction

Navigating the world of crushes and crush-like feelings is no easy feat, especially during middle school. Those years can be filled with excitement, but also shrouded with confusion about whether your crush shares those same feelings. Fear not, young love enthusiast! We are here to help you decipher the complex signals of middle school emotions. Here are three ways to tell if a guy in middle school likes you.

1.He Pays Extra Attention To You

One of the most reliable signs that a guy has taken an interest is his attentiveness towards you. In middle school, we all have a lot going on in our lives, so when someone goes out of their way to focus on us, it’s a strong indicator that they like us.

Example behaviors may include:

– Listening carefully when you speak

– Asking questions about your day, hobbies, or interests

– Complimenting or praising you more often than others

2.He Tries to Spend Time Near You

If a guy in middle school likes you, there’s a good chance he’ll unconsciously try to be close to you whenever possible. Instinctively attracted to your presence, it’s likely that he’ll look for opportunities to share physical space with you.

Some indicators of this might include:

– Sitting next to you at lunch or in class when given the choice

– Frequently joining gatherings or activities where you’re involved

– Making efforts to be around your friends as an opportunity to spend time near you

3.He Displays Nervous or Shy Behavior Around You

At such an impressionable age as middle school, sometimes feelings can manifest as nerves rather than confidence. A nervous energy surrounding one’s crush could mean that they see you as someone they want to impress and connect with on a deeper level.

Signs of nervousness might include:

– Fidgeting or playing with his hands when speaking to you

– Becoming more timid or outwardly shy in your presence

– Stuttering, stammering, or struggling to communicate with you

Conclusion

While these three ways can be helpful in understanding if a guy in middle school likes you, remember that everyone is unique. There isn’t an exact science to this process, but these cues can be helpful indications. Keep an open mind, trust your intuition, and always remember that communication is key. Don’t be afraid to openly discuss feelings – it may prove to be the catalyst for a budding middle school romance!
