In the age of social media, music has become an essential part of how we express ourselves. It allows us to share our feelings, emotions and memories with a simple click. Facebook, being one of the most popular platforms, allows users to easily share music on their profile. Here are three ways you can put music on Facebook.

1. Share Links to Music Platforms

One of the easiest ways to put music on Facebook is by sharing links to various music platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. By sharing links, you enable your friends and followers to click and open the content directly on the associated platform.

To do this:

– Find the song or album you want on your preferred music platform.

– Copy its link by clicking the “Share” button or copying it from the address bar.

– Go to your Facebook profile, paste the link, add a description if you’d like, and hit “Post.”

As a result, a preview with the album cover or video thumbnail will appear on your profile.

2. Use Facebook’s ‘Music’ Feature

Facebook introduced a ‘Music’ feature that allows users to add their favorite songs to their profile’s featured content.

To add music to your profile:

– Go to your Facebook profile and click on “Edit Profile.”

– Scroll down and click “Add Music” under “Featured.”

– Search for the song or artist you want to add.

– Click “Add” next to the song you’d like to feature on your profile.

– Adjust song placement by dragging songs in your list.

The added songs will appear in a playlist format under your Featured section for everyone visiting your profile.

3. Upload Music Videos or Live Performances

If you have original music videos or live performance recordings, consider uploading them directly as video posts.

To upload videos:

– Click the “Photo/Video” button in the posting window on Facebook.

– Select the video file you would like to upload from your device.

– Add a description, tags and choose the audience you desire.

– Click “Post” to share the video on your profile.

Uploading music videos or live performances allows your friends and followers to view and engage with your content directly, making it an excellent option for musicians and music enthusiasts alike.

Conclusion

Sharing music is a fantastic way of connecting with friends, family and followers on Facebook. Whether you’re sharing links to popular platforms, using Facebook’s ‘Music’ feature, or uploading music videos, these steps will help you easily put music on Facebook to liven up your profile and enhance your online presence.
