Introduction:

If you find yourself taken with the charm and accents of British men, you might be wondering where you can meet them in the United States. From cities with significant British populations to places where you’re likely to find Brits on holiday, we have got you covered. Here are three ways to meet British guys in America.

1. Visit Major Cities with British Communities:

Just as there are sizable American expat communities in London and other British cities, there are also plenty of Brits who have made their homes Stateside – and several US cities are known for their particularly high numbers of British residents. Some well-known destinations include:

a. New York City – As one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities, it comes as no surprise that numerous Brits call NYC home. Areas such as Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and Greenwich Village have shown growth in the number of British nationals.

b. Los Angeles – Thanks to Hollywood and the entertainment industry, a multitude of British actors, models, and filmmakers reside in LA.

2. Attend UK-Inspired Events and Activities:

Another way to meet British guys in America is by attending events that celebrate UK culture or cater specifically to Brits living abroad. This could include everything from watching Premier League football (aka soccer) matches at a nearby pub to enjoying a traditional afternoon tea.

Look for:

a. UK-themed gatherings or fan events – Search websites like Meetup or Eventbrite to find events where Brits might congregate.

b.•British pubs – Local British pubs are gathering spots for expats, and many offer “quiz nights” which tend to draw in crowds from across the pond.

3. Use Dating Apps Tailored to Expat Communities:

Want a more focused way of finding that special someone hailing from Her Majesty’s locale? There are numerous dating apps available that cater specifically to those looking to meet expats or people from other nationalities.

Consider trying:

a. Bumble – While not exclusively targeted toward international dating, Bumble offers location filters that can help you narrow your search to specific areas or nationalities.

b. Happn – This app lets you see other users you’ve crossed paths with during your day, increasing the likelihood of meeting someone close to home.

Conclusion:

Whether through visiting British-heavy cities, attending UK-themed events, or trying specialized dating apps, there are plenty of ways to meet British men in the United States. So why wait? Get out there and find your very own Hugh Grant doppelgänger!
