S’mores are a quintessential, mouth-watering treat enjoyed by campers and non-campers alike. They consist of gooey marshmallows, crispy graham crackers, and delectable melted chocolate. Traditionally toasted over an open fire or grill, not everyone has convenient access to these methods. However, there’s no need to fret – you can still make delicious s’mores in the comfort of your own home using just a microwave! Here are three simple methods to make s’mores in a microwave.

1. Classic Microwave S’mores

Ingredients:

– Graham crackers

– Large marshmallows

– Chocolate bars

Instructions:

1. Break the graham crackers into two equal halves. Then, arrange half of them on a microwave-safe plate.

2. Place a piece of chocolate on each graham cracker half.

3. Top each chocolate piece with a marshmallow.

4. Microwave the assembled s’mores for about 15 seconds or until the marshmallows start to puff up.

5. Immediately remove from the microwave and press down on the marshmallows with the remaining graham cracker halves.

6. Let them cool for a few seconds before enjoying your classic microwave s’mores.

2. S’mores Dip

Ingredients:

– 12 oz chocolate chips

– 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk

– 1/4 cup heavy cream

– 8 cups mini marshmallows

– Graham crackers for dipping

Instructions:

1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream.

2. Microwave the mixture for 60 seconds on high heat. Stir well and continue microwaving in 15-second intervals until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

3. Spread the chocolate mixture evenly at the bottom of an 8×8-inch microwave-safe dish.

4. Top the chocolate layer with mini marshmallows. Pack them tightly and create an even layer.

5. Microwave the dip for 30 seconds or until marshmallows become soft and start to turn golden.

6. Serve immediately with graham crackers for dipping, and enjoy your s’mores dip.

3. S’mores Mug Cake

Ingredients:

– 1/4 cup crushed graham crackers

– 2 tbsp powdered sugar

– 1/4 tsp baking powder

– 3 tbsp whole milk

– 5 tbsp mini marshmallows

– 2 tbsp chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix crushed graham crackers, powdered sugar, baking powder, and milk until well combined.

2. Stir in mini marshmallows and chocolate chips.

3. Microwave the mug for 90 seconds on high heat or until the cake is cooked through.

4. Remove from the microwave and let it cool for a minute before enjoying your s’mores mug cake.

Quick and easy-to-make, these microwave s’mores recipes are perfect for satisfying your cravings without having to venture outdoors. Gather your ingredients, invite your friends and family over, and indulge in these irresistible s’more dishes right at home!
