Spread the love

Mountain Dew Baja Blast has gained a cult following since its introduction in 2004. This tropical lime-flavored soda is a delicious and refreshing treat, especially during the hot summer months. And while you can find it in stores, it’s often more fun to make it yourself!

In this article, we’ll explore three different ways to make your very own Mountain Dew Baja Blast at home. Get ready to sit back, relax, and sip on your homemade tropical soda creation!

1. The Classic Mix

The simplest and most straightforward method of making Mountain Dew Baja Blast is by mixing two popular sodas: Mountain Dew and Blue Powerade. Here’s how you can do it:

– Fill half of a glass with regular Mountain Dew

– Fill the remaining half of the glass with Blue Powerade

– Stir gently until well combined

– Add ice if desired and enjoy!

2. The Tropical Twist

For those of you who love a burst of fruity flavor, try this tropical twist on the classic Baja Blast recipe by adding fruit punch and pineapple juice.

Ingredients:

– 8 oz Mountain Dew

– 4 oz Blue Powerade

– 2 oz fruit punch (such as Hawaiian Punch)

– 2 oz pineapple juice

Instructions:

1. In a tall glass, combine the Mountain Dew, Blue Powerade, fruit punch, and pineapple juice.

2. Stir gently to mix all ingredients.

3. Add ice cubes if desired and garnish with a slice of pineapple or an umbrella for that extra touch of tropical flair.

2. The Frozen Slushy

Why not turn your homemade Baja Blast into a delightful frozen slushy on hot summer days? Here’s how to put a frozen spin on this refreshing concoction:

Ingredients:

– 6 oz Mountain Dew

– 6 oz Blue Powerade

– 1 cup ice

– Optional: a splash of fruit punch

Instructions:

1. In a blender, combine Mountain Dew, Blue Powerade, and ice.

2. Blend until it reaches your desired slushy consistency.

3. You can add a splash of your favorite fruit punch to give it an extra kick of flavor, if you’d like.

4. Pour into a glass and serve with a spoon or large straw.

In conclusion, there are several ways to make Mountain Dew Baja Blast at home that cater to various tastes and preferences. Whether you prefer the classic mix, the tropical twist, or the frozen slushy, these recipes are sure to quench your thirst and transport you to a beachside paradise! Happy sipping!
