3 Ways to Jailbreak iOS Untethered

Introduction:

Jailbreaking an iOS device can open up a world of customization and freedom. It allows users to install third-party apps, customize the appearance and functionality of their devices, and gain access to features restricted by Apple. While there are several ways to jailbreak an iOS device, untethered jailbreaking is often preferred due to its minimal impact on battery life and the fact that the device remains jailbroken even after rebooting. In this article, we’ll discuss three popular methods to achieve an untethered jailbreak.

1. Uncover Jailbreak:

The Unc0ver tool is one of the most popular methods for achieving an untethered jailbreak on iOS devices and is developed by Pwn20wnd. It supports a wide range of iOS versions, from iOS 11 through iOS 14.3, and offers compatibility with multiple devices, including iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

To use Unc0ver for an untethered jailbreak, follow these steps:

a) Download the latest version of Unc0ver from the official website.

b) Install the AltStore app on your computer.

c) Connect your iOS device to your computer using a USB cable.

d) Launch AltStore and sign in using your Apple ID.

e) Open AltStore on your iOS device and follow the on-screen instructions to install Unc0ver.

f) Once installed, launch Unc0ver and tap on “Jailbreak” to begin the process.

2. Checkra1n Jailbreak:

Checkra1n is another popular method for achieving an untethered jailbreak. This tool utilizes the BootROM exploit called checkm8, which makes it a semi-tethered solution – it requires a computer connection upon each reboot but preserves the jailbroken state afterward.

To use Checkra1n for an untethered jailbreak, follow these steps:

a) Visit the official Checkra1n website and download the latest version.

b) Install Checkra1n onto your Mac or Linux computer.

c) Connect your iOS device to your computer using a USB cable.

d) Launch Checkra1n and follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the jailbreaking process.

3. Taurine Jailbreak:

Taurine is a relatively new jailbreaking tool developed by CoolStar for iOS 14 through iOS 14.3. This solution supports all devices compatible with those iOS versions and provides an untethered jailbreak experience.

To use Taurine for an untethered jailbreak, follow these steps:

a) Download the Taurine IPA file from the official website.

b) Install AltStore on your computer, if you haven’t already.

c) Connect your iOS device to your computer with a USB cable.

d) Launch AltStore and sign in using your Apple ID.

e) Open AltStore on your iOS device and follow the on-screen instructions to install Taurine.

f) Once installed, launch Taurine and tap on “Jailbreak” to begin the process.

Conclusion:

Untethered jailbreaking provides users with greater freedom while maintaining functionality after rebooting. The aforementioned tools – Unc0ver, Checkra1n, and Taurine – are popular options offering compatibility with various iOS versions. Keep in mind that jailbreaking does come with its own set of risks, such as voiding warranties and potential security vulnerabilities. As always, proceed at your own risk and back up your data before attempting any jailbreak.
