Introduction:

LG TVs are known for their exceptional picture quality, immersive audio experience, and user-friendly interface. However, did you know that there is a secret menu hidden within your LG TV that offers additional configuration options and features? This article will guide you through three different ways to access this hidden menu, allowing you to tweak your TV settings according to your preferences.

Method 1: Using the Service Menu Code

1. Turn on your LG TV and grab the remote control.

2. Press and hold the ‘Settings’ button on the remote control for about five seconds, until a cog icon appears at the top-right corner of your TV screen.

3. While still holding the ‘Settings’ button, press and release ‘9-8-7-6’ quickly in that order.

4. You will now see the secret service menu on your screen. To navigate, use the arrow buttons, the ‘Enter/OK’ button to select an option, and the ‘Back/Return’ button to go back or exit.

Method 2: Using a Smartphone App

1. Download and install an IR Blaster compatible app on your Android smartphone, such as “Service Remote Control” or “AnyMote Universal Remote.”

2. Launch the app on your phone and select ‘LG TV’ as your target device.

3. Locate and tap on the ‘IN START’ or ‘EZ ADJUST’ button within the app.

4. Point your smartphone towards your LG TV’s IR sensor and tap on either of these buttons again when prompted.

5. The secret menu should appear on your TV screen, which can be navigated using your original TV remote control.

Method 3: Accessing Through Factory Mode

1. Turn off your LG TV using its power button.

2. Locate three physical buttons on your TV set – ‘Menu,’ ‘Channel Down,’ and ‘Volume Up.’ You may need to refer to your TV’s manual if you cannot find these buttons.

3. Press and hold the ‘Menu’ button on your TV.

4. Turn on the TV by pressing the power button, while still holding the ‘Menu’ button.

5. Within a few seconds, release the ‘Menu’ button when you see the factory mode menu appear.

6. Use the ‘Channel Down’ button to locate and select ‘IN START,’ and press the ‘Volume Up’ button to access it.

Conclusion:

Accessing the secret menu in your LG TV offers additional settings that can be helpful in customizing your viewing experience. However, it is crucial to tread carefully when adjusting these settings, as altering system configurations might result in unwanted consequences. If you are unsure about any option within this secret menu, consult an experienced technician or refer to online support resources before making any changes. Happy tweaking!
