iCloud is a convenient way to store your apps, data, and settings in one place, but it can also be a place where you accumulate unwanted apps. Over time, you might find yourself with several apps that you no longer use or need. To maintain an organized iCloud storage, it’s essential to delete those unused apps. In this article, we’ll explore three different methods to delete apps from iCloud.

1. Delete apps directly from the Settings app

This method allows you to manage your iCloud data through the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

– Open the Settings app on your device.

– Tap on your Apple ID located at the top of the screen.

– Select “iCloud” from the list of options.

– Scroll down and tap on “Manage Storage.”

– A list of all the apps in your iCloud storage will appear. Find the app you want to delete and tap on it.

– Choose “Delete Data” and confirm that you want to remove the app’s data from iCloud.

2. Remove apps using the App Store

You can also delete apps directly from the App Store.

– Open the App Store app on your iPhone or iPad.

– Tap on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen.

– Select “Purchased” to view a list of all your downloaded apps.

– Locate the app you want to remove and swipe left on it.

– A red “Hide” button will appear. Tap on it, and the app will be removed from both your purchased history and iCloud.

3. Use a computer for bulk deletion

If you have a lot of unused apps stored in your iCloud, using a computer might make bulk deletion much more manageable.

– Go to iCloud.com in a web browser and sign in with your Apple ID credentials.

– Click on “Account Settings.”

– In the “My Devices” section, click on the “Manage” button next to “Apps & Data.”

– A list of all the apps in your iCloud storage will appear. Check the box next to each app you want to delete.

– Click on the “Delete” button that appears when you select an app, and confirm that you wish to remove the app and its data from iCloud.

In conclusion, regularly deleting unused apps from your iCloud helps keep your storage organized and clutter-free. Leveraging these three methods can help you proactively manage your iCloud storage and ensure that only important apps and data remain.
