Introduction:

Are you ready for an adventure in the mysterious end realm of Minecraft? If so, you’ll need to build an end portal! In this article, we’ll explore three different ways to build this gate that will transport you to the realm of Ender Dragons and fierce Endermen.

1. Locating a Stronghold:

The first and most well-known way to build an end portal is by locating a stronghold. Here’s how:

a. To find a stronghold, you’ll need to hunt down Eye of Enders by combining a blaze powder with an ender pearl.

b. Throw the Eye of Ender into the air, and it will point you in the direction of the stronghold.

c. Keep following the Eye of Ender until it drops into the ground; this indicates there’s a stronghold below.

d. Dig down, and make sure not to break any silverfish spawner blocks that may be present.

e. Once inside the stronghold, navigate through it until you discover the end portal room with a square frame structure.

f. Place Eyes of Ender on every block frame; doing so will activate the portal and get you one step closer to battling the Ender Dragon.

2. Create one in Creative mode:

Another way to build an end portal is by creating it yourself using Creative mode! Here’s how:

a. Switch your game mode to Creative mode by typing “/gamemode creative” in the chat if you’re playing Java edition or click on “Settings” > “Game” > “Game mode” for Bedrock edition.

b. Access your inventory and grab end portal frame blocks (search for “End Portal” in the search bar).

c. Place a 3×3 grid of end portal frame blocks on the ground.

d. Stand in the center of your 3×3 grid and open your inventory again.

e. Search for an Eye of Ender and place it on each end portal frame block.

f. Once you’ve placed all the Eyes of Ender, they will face inward, and the portal will activate.

3. Use a Command:

The final way to create an end portal involves utilizing a command line in your game:

a. Press “T” on the keyboard for the Java edition or “/” on the screen keyboard for Bedrock edition to open up your chat/command window.

b. Type “/give @p minecraft:end_portal_frame 12” and press Enter to obtain 12 end portal frame blocks.

c. Create a 3×3 square with the frame blocks and place them on the ground.

d. Afterward, type “/give @p minecraft:ender_eye 12” to get Eyes of Ender, which you can place on every frame block.

When you complete one of these three methods, you’ll have successfully built an End Portal transporting you into a new menacing realm where victory awaits!
