3 Simple Ways to Unblock Chakras with Reiki

Introduction

Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing technique that aims to balance the flow of energy within the body, promoting self-healing and relaxation. It is based on the belief that life force energy flows through us all, and when it is out of balance, we may experience physical, mental, or emotional discomfort. One way to maintain this balance is by keeping our chakras unblocked. Chakras are energy centers that govern specific aspects of our wellbeing. In this article, we will explore three simple ways to unblock chakras using Reiki.

1. Reiki Self-Healing

Reiki self-healing is a practice you can do at home to maintain balance in your body’s energy centers regularly. To perform Reiki self-healing to unblock chakras, follow these steps:

a. Find a quiet and comfortable space where you can sit or lie down without being disturbed.

b. Close your eyes and take several deep breaths to help you relax and focus.

c. Place your palms on each chakra, starting with the root chakra, which is located at the base of your spine.

d. Allow Reiki energy to flow through your hands into each chakra for a few minutes or until you feel a sense of balance and harmony.

e. Move upwards through each chakra until you reach the crown chakra at the top of your head.

Repeat this process regularly as part of your daily routine or meditation practice.

2. Distance Reiki Healing

Distance Reiki healing allows individuals to receive Reiki without being physically present with a practitioner or healer. This can be helpful if you are unable to attend in-person sessions or prefer to experience healing from the comfort of your home. To benefit from distance Reiki healing:

a. Find a certified Reiki practitioner who offers distance healing sessions.

b. Schedule a session at a mutually agreed-upon time and set your intention to unblock specific chakras.

c. Create a quiet space in which to lie down and receive the healing, ensuring you won’t be disturbed for the duration of the session.

d. During the session, focus on your intention and visualize yourself receiving Reiki energy from the practitioner.

e. At the end of the session, share any insights, experiences, or sensations with your practitioner.

3. Reiki Treatment with Crystals

Crystals are believed to possess individual energetic properties that can amplify Reiki energy, helping to unblock chakras more effectively.

During a Reiki treatment with crystals:

a. Set an intention to unblock specific chakras and choose crystals that resonate with those chakras’ energies (e.g., amethyst for the crown chakra or rose quartz for the heart chakra).

b. Lie down comfortably on a mat or massage table.

c. The Reiki practitioner will place the chosen crystals on or near your body’s corresponding chakra points, allowing the crystals to enhance the flow of Reiki energy as they perform traditional hands-on healing techniques.

d. Take deep breaths and focus on releasing any blocked energy within your chakras.

e. After the session, ensure you ground yourself by walking barefoot outdoors or having a glass of water.

Conclusion

These three simple ways of unblocking chakras using Reiki can help restore balance and harmony within your body’s energy system. Regular practice of self-healing, distance healing sessions and combining Reiki with crystal therapy can promote overall wellbeing and spiritual growth. As always, it’s essential to consult with a certified Reiki practitioner before embarking on any new healing journey for guidance and support tailored to your individual needs.
