The 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class EV marks an iconic transformation for the legendary G-Wagon. As the automotive world leans into the era of electrification, Mercedes-Benz ensures that its classic off-roader doesn’t get left behind. The all-electric G-Class combines traditional rugged appeal with modern sustainability, offering a new kind of luxury driving experience.

On the outside, the 2025 G-Class EV maintains its unmistakable silhouette, characterized by its boxy design and utilitarian aesthetics. However, subtle cues like a restyled grille and aerodynamic enhancements along with unique lighting signatures differentiate the electric variant from its combustion-engine predecessors.

Underneath its classic exterior, the G-Class EV is powered by Mercedes-Benz’s advanced electric powertrain. Specifics around horsepower and torque are still under wraps but expectations are high considering the brand’s performance legacy. The new model will feature a state-of-the-art battery system that aims to deliver a range that competes at the top of its class combined with impressive off-road capabilities.

The interior continues to reflect luxury and comfort, integrating high-quality materials and cutting-edge technology. The MBUX infotainment system is upgraded to seamlessly integrate with electric vehicle functions such as charging information and range status. Advanced driver assistance systems enhance safety while providing a semi-autonomous driving experience.

Pricing details are yet to be announced, but prospective buyers can expect a premium tag that aligns with the vehicle’s high-tech features and prestigious badge. With its launch, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class EV is poised to redefine what it means to drive an environmentally responsible vehicle without sacrificing heritage or capability.

Since technology is not going anywhere and does more good than harm, adapting is the best course of action. That is where The Tech Edvocate comes in. We plan to cover the PreK-12 and Higher Education EdTech sectors and provide our readers with the latest news and opinion on the subject.
