2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Has a Meaner Face, Same 668-HP V-8

The 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing emerges not just as a continuation of Cadillac’s high-performance legacy, but with a more aggressive visage to match its thunderous power. The latest iteration sports visual refinements without compromising the beastly heart that pulses under its hood – the same revered 668-horsepower supercharged V-8.

Appearance-wise, the 2025 Blackwing flaunts updated styling cues, giving it a leaner appearance that mirrors its predatory capabilities on the asphalt. The front fascia commands attention with sharper lines and an enhanced grille that increases airflow, optimizing performance. A new set of wheels complement the vehicle’s side profile, while at the rear, subtle changes to the spoiler and exhaust tips accentuate its sporty design language.

Cadillac has ensured its flagship performance sedan retains what made it an enthusiast favorite – raw power coupled with luxury. The familiar 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 engine remains at the heart of this beast, guaranteeing a spine-tingling symphony upon ignition and savage acceleration on demand. This formidable engine is paired with a precise 10-speed automatic transmission, though for those who seek a traditional driving experience, a six-speed manual option is reassuringly available.

Inside, drivers will be greeted by an interior that effortlessly melds opulence with sporting intent. Luxurious touches abound, yet functionality is not forgotten as it envelopes occupants in a tech-laden cockpit designed for driving connoisseurs.

While other manufacturers opt for downsized powertrains and hybrid configurations in pursuit of performance married to efficiency, Cadillac’s CT5-V Blackwing remains refreshingly rebellious in its dedication to old-school muscle and engineering purity.

The 2025 model year ensures the Blackwing’s snarlier face is not just for show but is directly reflected in its character on the road. It’s clear that Cadillac aims to provide an uncompromising experience for those who desire supercar-rivaling speed wrapped in a package imbued with American luxury and audacity.
