The 2025 Alfa Romeo Stelvio represents the Italian automaker’s continued commitment to producing stylish and sporty SUVs. As Alfa Romeo‘s flagship SUV, the 2025 model year brings updates to keep it competitive in the luxury compact SUV segment.

Design and Exterior

Alfa Romeo is known for its striking designs, and the 2025 Stelvio is no exception:

  • Refreshed front fascia with updated LED headlights and a revised grille design
  • More pronounced side sculpting for a dynamic profile
  • New wheel designs ranging from 18 to 21 inches
  • Expanded color palette including new metallic and tri-coat options

Performance

The Stelvio continues to offer a range of powerful and responsive powertrains:

  • Base model: 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with around 280 horsepower
  • Veloce (formerly Ti) trim: Uprated version of the 2.0-liter engine with approximately 300 horsepower
  • Quadrifoglio: 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 producing over 500 horsepower

All models come standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Alfa Romeo‘s Q4 all-wheel-drive system.

Interior and Technology

For 2025, the Stelvio’s interior receives significant updates:

  • New digital instrument cluster with customizable displays
  • Updated infotainment system with a larger touchscreen (likely 12+ inches)
  • Enhanced materials throughout, including premium leather and Alcantara options
  • Advanced driver assistance systems, bringing the Stelvio closer to Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities

Driving Dynamics

Alfa Romeo continues to focus on delivering an engaging driving experience:

  • Revised suspension tuning for improved ride comfort without sacrificing handling
  • Enhanced steering feel for better feedback and precision
  • Optional adaptive dampers for a wider range of driving characteristics

Sustainability Efforts

In line with industry trends, the 2025 Stelvio may introduce:

  • Mild-hybrid technology for improved efficiency in non-Quadrifoglio models
  • Increased use of recycled and sustainable materials in the interior

Conclusion

The 2025 Alfa Romeo Stelvio builds upon its reputation for combining Italian style with engaging performance. With its updated design, enhanced technology, and continued focus on driving dynamics, the Stelvio remains a compelling option for those seeking a luxury SUV with a sporty edge. As Alfa Romeo navigates the changing automotive landscape, the Stelvio demonstrates the brand’s ability to evolve while maintaining its core identity.
